Coach License Policy
The Coach License Policy pertains to all District II coaches and assistant coaches for Division 1 and Division 3 teams. Coaches of teams at virtually all levels are required to have licenses to ensure they are qualified to teach and guide youth soccer players. Read the details of the policy here.
Poaching Policy
Poaching players from other competitive teams is a serious offense which carries stiff penalties. Be sure that you know what practices are allowed and not allowed for your coaches, parents, and players. The latest District II Poaching Policy can be viewed here.
U9/U10/U11 Team Maximum Roster Size
The maximum roster size for District II U9, U10, and U11 teams is 13 players. This limit is enforced for both the Spring and Fall seasons.
U9 Tournament Play
District II stands behind the CYSA policy of NO tournaments for U9 and younger teams. It is possible for U9 and younger teams to apply for out-of-state tournaments without first obtaining District II approval, however it is not possible for a team to actually attend an out-of-state tournament without District II approval. This approval will not be granted under any circumstances.
